November 3rd General Election

Deadlines:

Register to Vote/Update Registration: 10/23/2026


Early in-person voting: 9/18/2026 through 10/31/2026 at the registrar's office, 343 Sunnyside Plaza in Winchester from 8:30m to 4:30pm.


Apply for ballot to be mailed to you: through 10/23/2026


Voter registration offices will be open on weekends for early voting on 

  • Sunday, October 18, 2026  12pm to 5pm
  • Saturday, October 24, 2026 9am to 5pm
  • Sunday, October 25, 2026 12pm to 5pm
  • Saturday, October 31, 2026 9am to 5pm


Election Day: 11/3/2026 from 6am to 7pm at Sherando High School.


Stay tuned for a sample ballot. Street captains and other volunteers will be distributing them as soon as they are available. Contact us to get a yard sign which can go up 45 days prior to the election (September 19th).


If you vote by mail, ballots will be mailed starting September 18th. Return your ballot ASAP, preferably via the drop off box at the registrar's office during the above hours.

Constitutional Amendments

November Ballot

Reproductive Rights Amendment 

This amendment would add a new section to the Virginia Constitution guaranteeing the right to make personal decisions about pregnancy, childbirth, and reproductive health care


Voting Rights Restoration Amendment

This amendment would change how Virginia restores voting rights to people who have been convicted of a felony. Currently, the governor must restore rights individually. This amendment would make restoration automatic for anyone no longer incarcerated.


Marriage Equality Amendment

This amendment would remove an existing ban on same-sex marriage from the Virginia Constitution and replace it with language guaranteeing the right to marry regardless of sex, gender, or race.
